Open Retirement Preparation seminars Executive

RCS runs a limited number of seminars designed specifically to meet the needs of senior managers and executives. Group sizes tend to be smaller and particular emphasis is given to more complex tax planning and investment subjects. Seminars are held in specially selected hotels in the Lake District (3 day programmes) and in Gloucestershire (2 day programmes).

The content includes the adjustment to retirement, state benefits, occupational and personal pensions and health and fitness. There is detailed coverage of taxation matters including income and capital gains tax, inheritance tax and will planning. Approaches to investment planning are analysed to offer ideas for later discussion with the participants own financial advisers. There is discussion about life after work including opportunities for voluntary and paid work and exploring new leisure activities and interests.

The seminars provide real practical help in assisting participants and their partners make the transition from full-time work towards retirement, recognising that not all who retire nowadays necessarily wish to stop working. All sessions are flexible and a participative approach is adopted so that the needs of each delegate are met. Views are sought in advance to give the opportunity for issues of individual interest to be covered.
